Lone Parents and Jobs: can the 70% target be met?
Publication details
Abstract
The government has set a target for 70 per cent of lone parents to be in work by 2010. Is it realistic? Should policy aim to speed up entry to jobs of lone mothers who already have relatively good prospects? Or should it focus on the barriers to work facing the most disadvantaged families?
